LSP Plugins anniversary release 1.0.18

Vladimir Sadovnikov has just released version 1.0.18 of his audio plugin suite, LSP plugins. This release celebrates one year since LSP plugins 1.0.0 release. All LSP plugins are available in LADSPA, LV2, LinuxVST and standalone JACK formats.

This release includes the following new plugins and changes -

Ardour 5.4 released

Ardour 5.4 released

Ardour 5.4 has just been released. The main news with this release is support for Ableton's Push 2 control surface. This control surface is designed to work with, and complement, Ableton Live's clip/scene workflow. Ardour does not currently support this type of workflow so Ardour's support, at least for now, is in relation to mixing, editing and musical performance.

The release of Ardour 5 has just been announced. This new release comes with some major new features and is a significant upgrade from the 4.x series. It is also the first release that officially supports the Windows platform. The following is a rundown of some of the latest features.

Audio production with Muse and Ardour is a 6 part video tutorial showing a complete workflow using FLOSS audio tools.

In this tutorial you will learn how to import, clean up and edit a MIDI file using MusE. It then goes on to show how to import the MIDI file into Ardour and setting up instruments to play the song.

Ardour 4.6 has been released

Ardour 4.6 has been released

Ardour 4.6 has been released with many interesting and useful new features, as well as loads of bug fixes. Let's check out some of what's new.

Track and bus duplication

Tracks and busses can now be duplicated. You'll find this option by right clicking on track headers in the editor window, or by clicking on the track/bus name of a mixer strip in the mixer window. This will duplicate the track/bus with all plugins and plugin settings.

Ardour 4.2 arrives, bug fixes galore

The Ardour devs have just announced version 4.2, codenamed "Taking Tiger Mountain". This release is primarily a bug fix release.

Notably, the audio/MIDI IO backend for Windows has been replaced with completely new code. Other areas that have been concentrated on for bug fixes include plugins, automation, video and MIDI control surfaces.
