Arturia unveils AudioFuse audio interface, with Linux support

Arturia recently attended the NAMM Show and unveiled AudioFuse, their new audio interface. AudioFuse is a compact USB interface with a plethora of I/O, including two built in mic preamps and ADAT I/O. The unit also has wide compatability, including Linux, and boasts a round-trip latency as low as 3 milliseconds.

What pops into most peoples heads when they think about contributing towards a software project is coding and bug testing, but there are many other ways to contribute too, especially for end users.

JACK Aware

Any program that supports JACK is said to be JACK Aware. This means that it not only has support for JACK audio and MIDI ports, but that is also is capable of having it's timeline synced up via JACK. 
 
The combination of these two allow for modular set ups where programs can be interconnected, as well as being kept in sync.

Little Pony have just released their new LP titled "WE ALL FALL DOWN: Strade, Rane, Principi e Dame". Little Pony are a band from Naples, Italy. Their sound is not easily defined but they draw influences from rock, funk, jazz and blues.

A few days ago, Synthtopia put out their annual poll to find out what users think the best DAW is. Ardour is in the list amongst others, but there is also a "Other" option where you can submit software not already included in the list.

If you are a new user who is interested in a specific piece of software and would like to see it covered on LMP, please do contact us so we can add it to the wish list. There is also a survey that you could fill out if you would like to tell us more about general content that you would like to see on LMP.
